Good to know
How much is admission?
Adults 21+: $20 in advance, including one free beverage, or $20 at the gate. Ages 15–20: $5. Under 15: free. Get tickets.
Can I bring the kids?
Absolutely. Kids under 15 get in free, and there's plenty for them to do: a coloring table, an activities table, a kids' costume, Dirndl & Lederhosen contest, a swing set and slide, plus horseshoes, basketball and volleyball for all ages. Please add a free child ticket for each kid so we have a headcount. Anyone drinking must be 21 or older with a valid photo ID.
How do I pay for food and beer?
Cards are accepted at the gate and at the food and beer stands. If you bought an advance ticket, your free beverage is loaded on your ticket’s QR code.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
Please don't bring outside alcohol. Beer is served by East Rock Brewing Company, and every purchase supports the VFW and the lodge.
What should I wear?
Whatever's comfortable. Dirndls, lederhosen and silly hats are strongly encouraged. It's an outdoor event in October, so bring a layer.
Should I bring a chair?
You’re welcome to bring a folding chair or blanket to relax on the field.
What if it rains?
It’s rain or shine. Check this page and our Facebook event the morning of the event for any weather updates.
Can I bring my dog?
Please leave pets at home. Service animals are welcome.
Is the event accessible?
If you need help getting around, find a lodge member at the entrance and we’ll gladly assist.
Getting home safely
Please drink responsibly and plan a safe ride home. Designated drivers are heroes.
